WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO SEALCOATING?
There are multiple benefits to seal coating your driveway or parking lot. It is an excellent preventative method for future damage. For instance, seal coating fills small cracks that may expand. Seal coating prevents moisture from seeping into the base material, which can cause upheaval or distress. Additionally, it is common for water to seep into the asphalt and freeze in the colder months. Routine seal coating will make your asphalt look dark and rich in color, improving your property’s overall appearance while maintaining and preventing damage.
WHAT MATERIAL IS BEING USED?
There is a wide range of sealants used on the market today but at Oddo's Blacktop Sealcoating & Striping we use a high-grade sealant from a reputable manufacturer. We ensure that a good base product is used with the proper ratio of water, ensuring the product is not compromised.
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY PROJECT ONCE COMPLETED?
It is important to note that seal coating requires a drying process. During this drying process, vehicles or any other objects should not touch the surface for 24-48 hours. Also, sprinkler systems that reach the driveway or commercial lot should be turned away from or completely turned off to prevent streaking.
